The audio tour features an audio text lasting one to two minutes on each of the 57 sights along the KulturLinie 107. From A as in Aaltotheater to Z as in Zollverein colliery, you can listen to lots of interesting information about Essen's history, buildings and building styles, architects, museums, theatres, industry and a lot of nature.

You can download all the audio files here in advance!
(for MP3 player or mobile)

While you are on the road, you can load the files onto your mobile phone via the Linkbox. To use the Linkbox, you must install a small additional program on your mobile. To do this, start the Internet browser of your mobile phone and enter http://linkbox.eu
Confirm the Internet connection and you will then be automatically guided through installation. We have affixed stickers to the ticket machines with so-called Linkbox barcodes at the relevant stops on the KulturLinie 107. When the Linkbox application is opened, you can read in the relevant Linkbox code with your photo mobile phone: The information on the respective cultural stop is displayed to you directly. It's easy. Why don't you give it a try!
